Nottingham Grief Support work directly with people experiencing grief and loss. We can accept referrals from professionals across the city, and our information and resources can be accessed by professionals to support their own understanding of grief or to support clients. Nottingham Grief Support do not directly provide training for professionals, but information about grief training for professionals in Nottingham can be found below.
referrals
Referrals to NGS can be made by professionals who are working with those whose bereavement is related to substance use, in any capacity. Individuals can also self refer to the service. For all referrals, please click the tile or follow this link.
training
Nottingham Grief Network do not provide training for professionals. The Nottingham Practice Development Unit (PDU) offer regular virtual and in person training sessions for professionals working with those who are grieving.
The PDU is a project led by Nottingham CVS. You can find out more about the PDU and the training they offer here.
